Caledonia and District Pipes & Drums
The Caledonia & District Pipes and Drums are a street band that takes pride in its family-friendly culture that promotes the love of traditional Scottish Highland music. Band members are of all ages and experience levels. The Caledonia P&D was established in 2001 and has held strong throughout the years.
Current Pipe Major is Andrew Rice. Current Drum Major is Andrew Baxter.
Current Band Manager Ken McDonald was the founding member and original Drum Major.
We primarily participate in summer parades and celebrations throughout Haldimand - Norfolk but can also be found annually at the Hamilton Labour Day Parade and will never miss the Remembrance Day ceremony hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion in Caledonia.
We always welcome new members and provide tutoring free of charge. Stop by the Grand Trunk Rail Station any Monday night to say hi and see what we’re about.
