Celtic Crafts

We’ll offer a variety of Celtic themed crafts to keep those little hands busy, such as:
-Make your own Tartan
-Paper Plate Dragon Head
-Popsicle Stick Fairies
-Celtic Heart Cord Necklace

Wellies Throw

The Wellie Throw, or Wellie Wanging, is a sport steeped in British tradition. Nothing could be more fun than throwing a rubber boot as far as you can. Just be sure to keep both of your boots on, and only throw designated wellies!

Junior Caber Toss & Hammer Throw

Why should the adults have all the fun? Come on over to the Children’s Glen and join in the junior caber toss & hammer throw - redesigned for the little ones of course. No competition here. Just safe, wholesome fun.

Create a Family Shield

Give your family shield a make over with crayons and markers. Update those old crests covered in boring knight’s helmets and flags. There’s not enough family shields with tigers and dinosaurs as far as I’m concerned.

Haldimand County Library

Staff of the Haldimand County Library will be on hand with books and activities for the kids. Perhaps a little story time will be in order after an afternoon of throwing rubber boots.

Face Painting

Free face painting will be available for the youngsters (and young at heart) over by the Highland Stage thanks to our friends at the Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society!
